The Migrator Complete!

Hello Penguins!
There sure has been a lot of activity around Rockhopper and his ship over the past few weeks. The Migrator is now complete and today penguins are setting off flares at the Beach to catch his attention. I haven’t seen him in the telescope yet, so be sure to let me know if you do! You can help out too if you head down to the Beach.

Also, the Captain’s journal will be added to the Book Room on Friday. The journal was lost when the Migrator crashed, but since then it has been salvaged and put back together. Now we can all read up on the Captain’s travels whenever we want!

In other news: Earlier this week I let you know that clubpenguin.com will be down for part of the day on Monday, April 14 to launch the new servers. This is just a reminder, that you won’t be able to login to Club Penguin between 12 am (midnight) and 3 pm. When the site is back up, the website will look different, but the game will be the same. The new servers that get launched will make the game faster and will make it possible for us to do some new things in Club Penguin in the future.

Until then…waddle on!

Mission Sneak Peek!

Hello Penguins

A lot of you have been asking about the new mission and believe me I have been too! Missions are top secret around here, but I was able to get a concept sketch from the mission from one of the artists. No one wants to ruin the surprise. I know Screenhog will want to tell you all about it after it comes out, but for now, I’ve only got a bit of information.

Mission 7 will be released before the end of April and is a continuation of the last mission, so you know what that means! If you haven’t played the last couple of missions, you need to finish them first before doing this new one.

I’ve seen a bit of the mission so far and I’m really excited to hear back from all of you about it.

Until then…waddle on!

New (Faster) Servers Coming Soon!!!

Hello Penguins!

Many of you have been helping to test the new servers at the Club Penguin Improvement Project and we’re finally ready to launch them! We will be changing out the old servers for brand new ones but unfortunately this will cause some down time.

On April 14, Club Penguin will be shut down between 12 am (midnight) and 3pm (Penguin Standard Time) so we can change out the servers. Its a bummer that we need to do this, but I think the results will be worth it!

When you go to clubpenguin.com after the new servers are launched the biggest difference you’ll notice right away is the website itself. The team has been working very hard on a new design for the site. The new servers will also make it possible to do some cool stuff with the game in the future, but all that is top secret right now.

If you want more information check out the Club Penguin Improvement Project at www.clubpenguin.com/cpip/

The April Fool’s party has arrived on Club Penguin. Let’s just say it is pretty awesome! There is two free items, and one new pin!

The first free item is crazy! It is the Swirly Glasses located at the Cove:

The second free item is the Red Propeller hat. Yes they have returned it!

The new pin is located at the Mine Shack. It is very hard to get, but I will guide you on how to get it. First you want to start connecting the dots from 1-50. Once you have reached 50 the Mine Shack will come to life, and the new pin “The Crayon” will pop out!

April Fools Day Sneek peek for the pet shop!

aaa

Hello Penguins!

It’s that time of year again in Club Penguin! April Fools is just around the corner and the team here has been working non-stop on a party that will be full of all kinds of April Fools silliness! Every year we celebrate April Fools in a different way and this year is no exception. When you show up in Club Penguin between March 28 and April 2 things will be a little strange. Even the newspaper will have a bit of a twist!

I was able to grab a sneak peek of one room from the party. We’ve never done anything like it before in Club Penguin and I’m really excited about it. We would love to hear what all of you think about it!

Until then…waddle on!

Egg timer in Club penquin Test Servers!

There is a little something we call, an egg timer in the test servers. I will discuss what it is, why it’s here, and how it can be used. First off, here is a picture of the egg timer.

timer
The odd thing is, this clock has nothing to do with eggs! A long time ago, club penguin decided to make these timers, but never released it. I guess they decided to put it on the test servers as a, well, test. An egg timer is like a bomb, it has a timed reaction and you can set it to whatever you want. This was made so parents could make a time for how long their child could play on club penguin.
If you use the egg timer, it will be right beside the mod badge in the sky. When you run out of time, you won’t be able to login for the rest of the day. A message will pop up when your time expires. Here is what it should look like

Reminder!

Hey everyone just wanted to tell you all to remember to dress green for the St. Patricks day party! I cant wait and if you dont wear green you might get pinched!

In other news: I hope you’re all keeping a close eye on the developments at the Beach. Things are moving along well, thanks to everyone’s hard work with the Aqua Grabber. Be sure to check it out and join in the fun!
